Caesars Entertainment has completed the acquisition of WynnBET’s iGaming operations in Michigan.

Caesars will maintain operations under the WynnBET brand to minimise disruption for customers while migrating WynnBET’s iCasino operations to its own platform and a new brand in the second half of this year, subject to regulatory approval.

As part of the deal, Caesars has agreed a long-term extension to the iGaming market access agreement with the Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

Caesars first announced that it was acquiring WynnBET’s online casino business in February 2024.

Caesars is already live in the in the Wolverine State with both online sports betting and iGaming in partnership with the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa.

Michigan’s licensed online sports betting and iGaming operators posted a 20 per cent increase in combined revenue to $234.8 million in April.
