German state lottery association Deutsche Lotto und Totoblock (DLTB) has reported a 3 per cent increase in total lottery sales to €8.2 billion in 2023, with a record €1.2 billion generated online.
Sales from the DLTB’s 16 state lotteries continue to be dominated by the Lotto 6aus49 game, which contributed €3.8 billion in sales, equivalent to around 46 per cent of total lottery sales in Germany.
