The Oregon Lottery reported a 36 per increase in sports wagers to $73.2 million in December, taking the annual total to $675.0 million.
December’s handle was another record for Oregon and was the third month in a row with wagers above $70 million.
American football wagers were $23.1 million and bets on ‘other’ unspecified sports were $27.0 million. Basketball contributed a further $16.5 million in wagers.
