Vermont posted sports wagers of $20.2 million in March, taking total handle in the state’s first three months of sports betting to $61.4 million.
Basketball was the most popular sport in March with bets of $11.7 million, 58 per cent of the total. Tennis bets were $1.6 million and $1.1 million for ice hockey. Other unspecified sports had wagers of $4.8 million in the month.
