Players in North Carolina wagered $659.3 million in the opening month of the state's regulated online sports betting market.
Sports betting started in North Carolina on 11 March with eight licensed online operators, including DraftKings, FanDuel and ESPN BET.
Promotional wagering in the opening month was $202.6 million, representing 31 per cent of total handle.
North Carolina’s customers won $590.8 million from the sportsbooks, resulting in gross revenue of $66.5 million, at a margin of 10.1 per cent.
