Sports bettors in Vermont wagered $12.6 million in May, marking the state’s lowest monthly total since the regulated market launched in January.
Basketball accounted for 32 per cent of monthly bets at $4.1 million, followed by baseball betting at $2.8 million and bets on ‘other’ unspecified sports at $3.2 million.
Vermont’s gross win in May was $1.3 million, at a margin of 10.1 per cent.
