Negotiations between the state government and casino operators in New South Wales have led to an agreement on employment and tax rates.
The agreements signed Monday (20 Nov.) by New South Wales (NSW) Treasurer Daniel Mookhey include a retrospective tax increase on table games at The Star and Crown casinos, as well as a commitment by The Star to maintain its NSW headcount at specified levels.
