Playtech has announced the launch of its first slot game as part of the Age of the Gods suite of omni-channel progressive jackpot slots which are to be rolled out over the course of 2016.

Zeus, the king of the gods in Greek mythology, is a five-reel, twenty five-line slot containing neon graphics, unique bonuses and new features to engage and entertain players across the solutions giant’s network of top-tier licensees.

The game was developed in-house, and allows players to win huge jackpots across Playtech’s progressive jackpot network, which the supplier claims to be the largest in the industry.

Features include spinning three scatter symbols to trigger ten free games, with a frozen Zeus Wild and an increasing win multiplier, while player can win one of four Age of the Gods mystery jackpots on any spin in the divine game.

A further six titles will be released in the Age of the Gods series this year to follow Zeus, including Hercules, Furious Four, Athena, Age of the Gods and Fate Sisters.

“Our casino unit has developed a series of incredible, high-quality games that will add yet another dimension to our already unique suite of 600 best-performing titles,” Playtech chief operating officer Shimon Akad commented.

“Zeus is just the beginning. The Gods are most certainly coming and our licensees and their players can expect a whole stream of Age of the Gods content that will be launched across the rest of this year.”
