Australian gaming software supplier Aristocrat Leisure has rolled out its second slot based on the smash hit TV series The Walking Dead at California's Pechanga Resort & Casino.

The Walking Dead II features a number of elements based on popular characters from the show, such as the Michonne Attack Bonus, as well as Reel Growth for up to 300 lines and Wild Horde Multipliers.

The game also has two bonus features based around the Governor, a villain played by British actor David Morrissey; the Governor Jackpot Bonus and Governor Free Games.

Aristocrat is looking to tap into the TV show's huge fanbase with the launch of its second Walking Dead slot. Since the first series debuted on television in 2010, the show has become one of the most-viewed cable TV series of all time.

Its seventh season is due to air in October and a companion series, Fear the Walking Dead, debuted in 2015.

The Pechanga Resort & Casino, a venue located in Temecula, California, and operated by the Pechanga Tribe of Luiseno Indians, has become the first casino in the world to launch the game, which is hosted on Aristocrat's Arc Double cabinets.

"We are thrilled to host the world premiere of this exciting new game," Pechanga vice president of slot operations Alex Rodriguez commented. "Pechanga is known for our distinctive events, and we are excited to be the first casino in the world to bring The Walking Dead II Slot Game to our players."
