London-listed gaming supplier Playtech has launched its casino and poker products in Sweden for operators including bet365 and Paddy Power Betfair.

The Swedish rollout continues Playtech's expansion in regulated European markets and follows recent deals in Portugal (Sociedade de Apostas Sociais), Czech Republic (Fortuna) and Poland (Totalizator Sportowy).

Swedish players gain access to Playtech’s online casino and live dealer products through bet365 and Betfair, while bet365 will also offer online poker games.

In addition, Playtech-owned Swedish slots provider Quickspin has launched 30 of its most popular titles with licensed operators in the country.

“Playtech has a track record of working hand in hand with its licensees to be at the forefront of regulated markets in Europe and across the globe,” said Playech chief operating officer Shimon Akad.

“Our data driven services across any product and any channel delivers our partners a distinct advantage in regulated and fast-growing markets, allowing them to build compliant and commercial long-term businesses.”

Shares in Playtech plc (LSE:PTEC) were trading down 0.96 per cent at 412.00 pence per share in London Monday morning.
