Novomatic's interactive division Greentube has entered the regulated Colombian iGaming market for the first time in partnership with licensed operator Wplay.

A selection of Greentube’s slot, video bingo and table games have gone live with the operator in Colombia, including titles such as Sizzling Hot deluxe, Lucky Lady’s Charm deluxe, 1-2-3 Bingo! and Bingo 10, among others.

"Our main goal is to give a unique experience to our users," said Wplay CEO Julio Cesar Tamayo Betancur. "Our deal with Greentube is a very significant one, as we are sure that with their comprehensive casino games portfolio, we will be able to not only create this unique experience for many players, but also expand our local market."

Greentube chief financial officer and chief games officer Michael Bauer commented: "The online expansion into Colombia is another important step for us as it is the first market we have targeted in the Americas.

"We already know that our games are popular based on Novomatic’s success in the land-based market and our goal is to replicate that success online. Wplay is one of the key players in the market and we are excited about this impressive cooperation."

Bauer said that Greentube’s expansion across the Americas will continue, with the supplier in discussions with regulators and operators in New Jersey and Mexico.

"Furthermore, we will closely monitor developments in Argentina, Peru and other South American markets that are about to regulate, to identify any additional opportunities to expand our business there," he said. "We plan to consistently strengthen our focus on regulated markets in LatAm and the US moving forward."
