Novomatic’s interactive division strengthens B2C operations with acquisition of one of the Czech Republic’s leading online brands
Greentube is expanding its B2C operations with the acquisition of Czech online sportsbook and casino operator Kingsbet for an undisclosed amount.
Marking a further step in its strategic expansion across regulated European markets, Greentube will acquire full ownership of locally licensed Kingsbet, the online arm of Czech land-based casino operator Kings Entertainment.
The deal remains subject to certain conditions, including regulatory approval.
Following completion, Kingsbet will provide Greentube with local operational expertise and market knowledge, supporting the company’s long-term ambitions in the country, where it has been providing its content since the opening of the iGaming market in 2017.
“Entering the Czech market is a natural step in our long-term growth strategy,” said Greentube chief commercial officer Ronald van den Brink. “The Czech Republic stands among the most advanced and well-regulated gaming markets in Europe. By joining forces with Kingsbet, we are gaining a strong local team that will support our expansion.”
Kingsbet CEO David Vaněk added: “We are excited to join the Greentube group. This partnership brings us growth and investment opportunities, and access to advanced technology and globally renowned game studios. It will allow us to deliver an even stronger player experience and continue growing in the Czech Republic.”
The acquisition adds to Greentube’s expanding B2C operations, which includes StarVegas in Italy, StarGames in Germany, and Admiral Casino in the United Kingdom.
Kingsbet went live in the regulated Czech iGaming market in 2024, powered by Bragg Gaming’s platform.
According to data from the Czech Ministry of Finance, the Czech gambling market generated gross gaming revenue of CZK68 billion (approx. €2.7 billion) in 2025, with online gambling accounting for 59.2 per cent of the total.
