Italian gaming operator SNAI has been forced to temporarily suspend the operation of its Barcrest video lottery terminal (VLT) platform following an “unusual” peak in payment requests last week.
Scientific Games subsidiary Barcrest is one of two VLT platform providers for SNAI and currently accounts for one-third of the company’s revenues in the VLT segment.
