Norway delays gambling liberalisation plans

Norway’s coalition government has delayed plans to liberalise the country’s gaming market as it looks to clarify the legal status of monopoly holder Norsk Tipping.

Norwegian culture minister Thorhild Widvey explained that in order for the Conservative-Progress party coalition to develop a new gambling law it would need time to address questions raised about current legislation.
