Bill allows gamblers to seek exclusion without admitting problem

A bill to allow residents of the US state of New Jersey to request voluntary exclusion from gambling activities without admitting to being a problem gambler received its second reading Monday.

Under current legislation, New Jersey residents who want to request self-exclusion from gaming activities at all New Jersey licensed casinos and simulcasting facilities, including online gaming, must acknowledge that they are a problem gambler.
