Pennsylvania Senators Edwin Erickson and Bob Mensch have introduced a bill to regulate online poker within the state.
Senate Bill 1386 proposes an amendment to Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statues to expand the duties of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and Department of Health to effectively regulate online gaming in the form of poker, introduce a tax on the game, and prescribe penalties for those in breach of the regulations.
