Swedish gaming technology provider Random State is set to enter the North American market for the first time after securing licence approval in Ontario.

The approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) will enable the company to supply its portfolio of iLottery and multiplayer bingo games, as well as platform services, to licensed operators in the Canadian province.

“Securing the Ontario licence is a milestone our entire team has worked tirelessly toward,” said Random State co-founder and chief operating officer Adam Fonsica. “Ontario not only validates the quality and integrity of our technology; it also gives us a launchpad for the wider North American market.

“We look forward to delivering our signature eInstant games and multiplayer bingo hub to Ontario players later this year, in partnership with a soon-to-be-announced operator.”

Random State expects to go live in Ontario with its eInstants and multiplayer bingo games during the third quarter of 2025.

The company is currently licensed in Sweden and has launched its games in Norway with the state lottery operator Norsk Tipping.
