Spain’s National Commission for Markets and Competition (CNMC) has opened disciplinary proceedings against two Spanish TV broadcasters, Atresmedia and Mediaset, over possible breaches of the country’s gambling advertising restrictions.
Each broadcaster is being investigated for breaches of Articles 14.2 and 14.4 of Spain’s General Law on Audiovisual Communications. The ads appeared on Mediaset's channel Cuatro, and Atresmedia’s Neox channel.
