A total of 66 defendants have been put on trial in Vietnam for allegedly being part of an online gambling ring that used the Isle of Man-licensed operator 188bet.com to place bets illegally.
The People’s Court in Ho Chi Minh City held the first hearing on the case Monday (August 24th) with the defendants indicted for gambling, organising gambling and illegally transporting currency across Vietnam’s borders.
