World football governing body FIFA has confirmed the worldwide extension of bans given to several officials and players linked with match-fixing in Italy.
The officials and players had already been banned in Italy after being found guilty of match-fixing by the Italian Football Association’s (FIGC) Sport-Justice Bodies and the Collegio di Garanzia dello Sport of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
