Tennis match-fixing in the spotlight again as 34 arrested in Spain

Spanish authorities have arrested 34 people, including 6 professional tennis players, following an investigation into match-fixing in lower tier events in Spain and Portugal.

After receiving information from the Tennis Integrity Unit, an investigation was launched by the Guardia Civil, the law enforcement agency in Spain which operates under the authority of both the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Defence.
