Australian Open boys tennis champion charged with match-fixing

In another significant blow to the reputation of Tennis, police in Australia have arrested the reigning Australian Open boys champion on charges of match-fixing.

Police in the Australian state of Victoria arrested 18-year-old Oliver Anderson last week following an investigation involving detectives from the Sporting Integrity Intelligence Unit (SIIU) and licensed Australian bookmakers.

Brisbane-based Anderson, the 2016 Australian Open boys champion, has been charged with engaging in conduct that corrupts a betting outcome.
