Kentucky Senator Julian Carroll has once again submitted a bill which aims to legalise sports wagering in the state, subject to the repeal of the US federal ban on sports betting.
Carroll's bill would add a new section to the Kentucky Revised Statutes requiring the state Horse Racing Commission to implement a sports wagering system, when permitted to do so by federal law.
