New York Assemblymember Clyde Vanel has introduced a bill that seeks to establish a legislative task force with responsibility for devising regulations for legal sports betting in the state.
The task force would be established in the event that the Supreme Court overturns the current prohibition on sports betting under the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA).
