Judicial authorities in Argentina have imposed a suspended prison sentence on one of the co-founders of the Miljugadas.com online betting site for breaching the country's gambling laws.
The ruling marks the first time that a prison sentence has been imposed in relation to illegal online gambling and follows the reclassification of unauthorised iGaming as a federal crime punishable by up to six years imprisonment.
