Albany County Supreme Court has ruled in favour of a suit backed by anti-gambling group Stop Predatory Gambling, which argued that New York’s daily fantasy sports regulations are unconstitutional.
The court ruled Friday that daily fantasy sports contests (DFS) are unconstitutional, but said that lawmakers were entitled to remove the games from the state’s penal law concerning illegal gambling.
