The Kentucky Lottery has reported record sales for the fiscal year ended 30 June following strong growth from its iLottery platform.
Total lottery sales increased 8 per cent to $1.13bn during the 2018/19 fiscal year, surpassing the previous record set in 2017/18.
Scratch-off tickets were again the largest individual game category with sales climbing 9 per cent to $669.2m, while sales of Mega Millions rose 59 per cent to $63.1m, mostly due to the $1.5bn jackpot last October.
