Catalonia approves draft gaming legislation

The government of Spain’s autonomous community of Catalonia has approved draft legislation to govern gambling in an effort to break the “legal vacuum” created by the internet. The regulations will apply to all gaming operators based in Catalonia and those whose principle market is the Catalonia region.
