Snooker pro John Higgins cleared of match-fixing charges

At an independent disciplinary hearing Wednesday, snooker professional John Higgins was cleared of all match-fixing charges levelled against him by a UK newspaper which had alleged that the three-time world snooker champion had agreed to take a bribe of approximately £260,000 to lose four specific snooker frames.
