Sweden’s Betsson AB has lost its claim for damages against the Swedish government and has been ordered to pay the State’s legal costs by the Court of Appeals.
Betsson was seeking damages in excess of SEK100m in relation to the government’s ban on wheel of fortune games which was found to be in breach of applicable European law.
