Competitive eaters and video gamers could join the ranks of
New Jersey athletes under a bill introduced to expand sports betting
opportunities.
The bill sponsored by Assemblymen Ralph Caputo and Ronald Dancer would amend the general prohibition on esports betting to only include esports events where the majority of participants are under the age of 18, or when the event is affiliated with a high school.
