Dutch gambling regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) will start the licensing procedure for ZEAL Network subsidiary Lottovate after deciding against appealing a recent decision by an Amsterdam Court.

In early 2015 Lottovate applied for a license to operate a new charity lottery, but was refused by the KSA.

Earlier this month, an Amsterdam Court ruled against the decision by the KSA on the grounds that there was insufficient evidence under the country’s Betting and Gaming Act to justify why the number of licenses should be restricted to four.
