The UK government will launch a new consultation process to close a betting loophole which allows operators to bet on the outcome of the popular EuroMillions lottery game, a move which Lottoland claims is being driven by Camelot to protect its monopoly.

The government noted out that bet-on-lotteries operators such as Lottoland offered cut-price bets on the EuroMillions twice-weekly draw, taking money away from good causes.
