Swedish state-owned gaming operator Svenska Spel has deployed its Playscan responsible gambling tool with Switzerland’s Loterie Romande.
The Swiss lottery operator will use the Playscan behavioural analysis tool to monitor for signs of problematic game play and intervene with personalised communications to players.
Playscan is used in Sweden by Svenska Spel and Miljon Lotteriat, and has also been deployed in Norway by Norsk Tipping and France by La Française des Jeux (FDJ).
“[Playscan] gives us deep insights about gambling risk,” said Annika Hjälm, manager for Playscan at Svenska Spel. “For example, we have very good opportunities to test alternative types of communications with customers and learn what offers the best result. The greater the amount of user data, the better the predictions for the individual player.
“Now we continue to explore how we can best benefit from all the insights we get through the tool. Going forward, we are developing new functionality in order to provide our customers with the most secure and fun gaming experience in real time.”
