ASA bans William Hill TV ad linking gambling with seduction

A television advert for William Hill’s live casino offering has been banned by the UK Advertising Standards Authority, despite being ratified by broadcasting compliance agency Clearcast. The advert, created by agency Beattie McGuinness Bungay, featured close-up shots of a female croupier intercut with images of a roulette wheel, blackjack table, casino chips and cards, accompanied by the slogan: “Experience a live casino like no other”.
