A-Play Connect, Affinity Gaming’s Williams Interactive-powered social casino platform, has launched a mobile offering followiing a partnership with mobile and social technology specialist Joingo.

Joingo’s technology allows land-based operators with an offering on Williams Interactive’s Play4Fun Network to access free-to-play casino slot titles, in-app hotel and event bookings, as well as take part in special promotions and location-based offers via mobile devices.

It follows an agreement between Williams Interactive and Joingo last August, with Snoqualmie Casino the first operator to launch the service.

Affinity Gaming’s app is now available on iPhone devices with tablet and Android variants to follow later this month.

The launch follows the roll-out of the desktop variant of the app last week, which Affinity plans to use to attract customers to its land-based venues.

“It’s reported that over the next five years, the number of mobile and or tablet owners using their devices to gamble will increase by 100m,” Joingo chief executive Steve Boyle explained. “Casino operators like Affinity who establish a strong mobile presence early on, even through a play-for-fun offering, will reap the benefits, now and in the future, as mobile gaming is posed to become a lucrative revenue stream.

“Together, Joingo technology and the Williams Interactive product catalogue provide the strongest combined force for success,” he added.

Affinity CEO David Ross said that mobile commerce was “strategically critical” for the Nevada-based operator.

"Joingo has been a strategic partner that has delivered an integrated mobile platform, allowing us to leverage their state of the art technology to foster better relationships with our guests," he said.
