Gibraltar-licensed gaming software supplier Nektan has rolled out a new white label mobile casino platform, with Chomp Casino the first to be powered by the solution.

The mobile gaming platform can serve as a standalone solution or be integrated into an operator’s existing platform, and is designed to offer a simple and fast solution to tap into the mobile gaming sector.

The HTML5 platform features 14 exclusive slot games and an intuitive mobile lobby design, with Nektan planning to launch a native iOS version in the coming months.

Nektan chairman Gary Shaw explained that the company had spent the past year building the mobile platform and games portfolio in order to create a fully-managed end-to-end solution. He noted that the company was working with a number of other partners, who would be launching the platform shortly.

“We believe that our intuitive mobile casino lobby and exclusive gaming content is at the forefront of new mobile gaming development and will give our partners a significant advantage capturing the imagination of players,” Shaw said.

The year-long building process saw the supplier invest heavily in its technology stack in order to develop a next-generation platform, adding that “the strategic acquisition of Mfuse [had] begun to bear fruit.”

The company’s chief technology officer Simon Teppett explained that mobile gaming was a fundamental shift in the iGaming industry, necessitating “a complete bottom-up re-engineering.”

“So many platforms struggle with their legacy systems developed to support fixed-line Internet connections, Flash desktop lobbies and thus a radically different user experience,” he said. “Having made this investment, we’re now able to work smarter and deliver great mobile games for the benefit of partners and players alike.”
