English Championship football club Sunderland AFC has announced bookmaker Coral as a club partner for the 2017-18 season.

The partnership will see Coral provide a match day betting service for every league and cup game at the club's Stadium of Light, with fans able to cash in their in-stadium winning bets at any Coral shop.

It will also offer Sunderland fans exclusive offers and promotions throughout the campaign, including special experiences such as visits to Sunderland's training ground.

The partnership gives Coral significant match day branding opportunities at the stadium and across the club's website and social media channels.

"We warmly welcome Coral to the club ahead of the commencement of the new season," Sunderland head of communications Louise Wanless said. "As a leading UK name in their field they will ensure that our supporters can access a premium in-stadium service for all their match day betting needs and we look forward to working alongside them."

The 2017-18 campaign will be Sunderland's first outside the top flight of English football in ten years, after it was relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2016-17 season.
