Sports data provider Genius Sports Group has secured a landmark agreement with Football DataCo, the data rights holder for all professional football leagues in England and Scotland.
Through its sports betting division Betgenius, Genius Sports will have the exclusive right to collect, license and distribute live data from the Premier League, the EFL and Scottish Professional Football League to sports betting operators around the world. The data rights had previously been held by rival Perform.
