British survey shows underage gambling rate hold steady

The UK Gambling Commission has urged parents to talk to their children about gambling after research revealed that up to 16 per cent of children aged 11 to 15 years old in England and Wales had participated in gambling.

The figure comes from a survey carried out by the regulator over the past year with polling specialist Ipsos MORI, based on a sample of 2,411 respondents aged 11-15.
