The UK government said Monday that it will honour the commitment of the previous government to share half of the net cash proceeds from the sale of the state-owned Tote to British horse racing, after completing the first stage of the open market process.
Last September the UK government launched an open market sale process to finally resolve the future of the state-owned Tote, inviting proposals for the business from both private bidders and other parties.
