UK bookmaker Ladbrokes has confirmed the departure of Richard Ames as the company’s head of product with immediate effect.
Ladbrokes said in a statement that Ames had “ceased to perform his executive duties” as head of product, following an article in UK newspaper The Telegraph this morning which claimed that he had been sacked over the company’s “botched” digital strategy.
