Konami Gaming has appointed experienced sales executive Deron Hunsberger as vice president of North American game sales.
Hunsberger returns to lead land-based game sales in the United States and Canada, having served during Konami’s earliest years as director of slot sales between 2000 and 2006.
Since then he has worked at a number of gaming suppliers, including Aristocrat, Scientific Games (including Shuffle Master and WMS Gaming), and more than seven years at Ainsworth Game Technology.
“Deron Hunsberger’s demonstrated customer commitment, solutions-driven approach, and passion for continuous improvement algin with our organization’s enduring values and key objectives,” said Tom Jingoli, president and chief operating officer at Konami Gaming.
“Hunsberger’s prior experience with Konami further positions him for success in this role, leading an incredibly talented and dedicated team of representatives serving casinos from coast-to-coast.”
Shares in Konami Gaming parent Konami Group Corporation (TSE:9766) gained 2.39 per cent to close at ¥21,410.00 per share in Tokyo Wednesday.
