Seneca Resorts & Casinos, operator of three casinos in New York, promotes James Domzalski to top legal role
New York casino operator Seneca Resorts & Casinos has named longtime advisor and in-house attorney James Domzalski as chief legal officer and general counsel.
Domzalski joined Seneca in 2006 and previously served as deputy general counsel and senior corporate counsel.
In his new role, he will oversee and direct all legal, risk management, and regulatory compliance activities of the company and its subsidiaries.
“Jim has been a trusted advisor to our senior management team and Board, and an exceptional member of the Seneca Resorts & Casinos team for the past two decades,” said Seneca Resorts & Casinos president and CEO Kevin Nephew. “His in-depth knowledge and understanding of our operations, our industry and the complex landscape in which we operate make him a vital resource in everything we do.”

Prior to joining Seneca, Domzalski practiced in the Washington DC office of Akin Gump, and with Gardner, Carton & Douglas in Albany, New York.
