Singapore Pools has begun the search for a new chief executive officer after incumbent Seah Chin Siong announced his intention to step down.
Chin Siong will leave the business on May 1st after more than six years, having served as CEO since January 2015. He is stepping down to assume the same role at the Singapore Institute of Management.
He is credited with transforming the Singapore Pools business to enable it to compete in the digital economy, and for sustaining the highest level of responsible gambling certification. He also initiated the iCloud project, a Singapore Pools charity aimed at providing a secure and affordable cloud-based IT platform for the charitable sector.
“On behalf of the board and management of Singapore Pools, I would like to express our deep appreciation to Chin Siong for his contributions to the company and his leadership to enhance the Charity sector through digitalisation,” said Koh Choon Hui, chairman of Singapore Pools. “We wish him our very best in his next appointment.”
