Swedish casino games provider Play’n GO enjoyed the most successful month in its history in December.

In December, the company recorded the highest ever number of daily active players, rounds played and gross gambling revenue generated, marking the best month in its near two-decade history.

The record performance benefited from the release of Gargantoonz at the end of November, in addition to the breakout performance of its Piggy Blitz slot in the United States.

“I’m immensely proud of the entire team today,” said Play’n GO CEO and co-founder Johan Törnqvist. “It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone in the business that we can continue to grow and break our own lofty records.

“December was obviously a great month for us, but it doesn’t happen by chance. We are working hard to innovate across all areas of the business – many of which go unseen by most observers – and it’s brilliant to see great financial results that confirm we’re on a great path towards a sustainable and thriving business for many years to come.

“Although Play’n GO has been around for a while now, I feel like we’re only just getting started and can’t wait to see what 2024 brings.”

The record month follows the supplier’s one-day record for rounds played, set on 1 November, with close to a quarter of a billion spins registered.
