7th February 2020 10:06 am GMT

This week has seen new games released by the likes of Blueprint Gaming, DreamTech Gaming, Pragmatic Play, Scientific Games, Spearhead Studios, and Pollard Banknote.

Blueprint Gaming’s Pirates’ Frenzy

Blueprint Gaming is taking players on a hunt for hidden treasure in the latest addition to slots portfolio, Pirates’ Frenzy.

In the 5x3 10-line slot, three or more scattered pirate ships trigger the free spins round in which players can win up to 50 free games. Throughout the feature, the scurvy pirate gathers all the coin bag’s in view to boost the standard win.

Pirates’ Frenzy is the first Blueprint game to incorporate the supplier's new Power Play Bet mechanic, which allows players to activate an extra reel for up to six of a kind wins and more chances to trigger free games.

“Aaarrrr you ready for an adventure as we set sail to discover hidden treasure in our newest game release, Pirates’ Frenzy," said Blueprint Gaming director of marketing and relationships Jo Purvis.

“The new Power Play Bet feature means players can raise the stakes and activate an extra reel to ensure there are more ways of discovering gold coins and free spins.”

DreamTech Gaming’s Ice and Fire

DreamTech Gaming has launched its first slot game in partnership with Yggdrasil.

Ice and Fire is the newest game release from YG Masters programme and sees the two elemental enemies face-off across split 5x5 screens, sharing wilds as they are locked in their eternal battle.

Wilds are mirrored across dual reel sets regardless of which side they land on, as wins create cascading features, while if players manage four or more winning cascades in a single spin, the free games feature is triggered, and they can pick an elemental dragon in their battle for glory.

The free games feature is ultra-volatile, placing up to 150 extra wild symbols on the reels, with the ability to retrigger the bonus round in the mode, leading to colossal win potential.

Ice and Fire also contains a multiplier feature, where three scatter symbols can award 10 free games, with an increasing multiplier after every cascading win.

“The YG Masters programme has gone from strength-to-strength in the last 12 months, and we are marking ICE 2020 by releasing our newest title, Ice and Fire,” said Yggdrasil head of studio partnerships Stuart McCarthy. “The game offers a completely new flavour to our portfolio and its action-packed gameplay will excite fans across the globe.

“Our YG Masters programme will undergo significant expansion in the upcoming year, as part of our new Publishing division, so this marks the start of a thrilling period of expansion for our team.”

DreamTech Gaming product owner Peter Walker added: “Ice and Fire is a thrilling creation pitting two opposing elements against one another, as fearsome dragons roam the reels in search of giant wins.

“We are delighted to release our first title through the YG Masters programme and look forward to a continuing partnership with Yggdrasil in the years to come.”

Pragmatic Play’s Super7s

Pragmatic Play has released its latest slot title, Super7s.

The 3x5, five payline slot contains vintage fruit icons, alongside bells, Lucky 7s and a star-shaped scatter symbol.

In the game, Super7s can reward players with up to 1000x their stake if five of the Lucky7 symbols land on the same payline.

“Super7s is an easy-to-understand game that appeals to classic slot fans across the globe,” said Pragmatic Play chief commercial officer Melissa Summerfield. “With a vintage theme, mixed with mammoth win potential, Super7s will have players praying for 7s across the reels.”

Scientific Games’ Pharaoh’s Dream

Scientific Games has expanded its slot portfolio with the launch of latest release Pharaoh’s Dream.

Developed by the supplier’s Bally studio, Pharaoh’s Dream takes players to Ancient Egypt in this 5x4 reel, 40 line slot.

The title’s action-packed features include Pyramid Stacked wilds in the base game and a free spins round where stacked wilds remain sticky for the entire bonus round.

Spearhead Studios’ Wilds of Wall Street

EveryMatrix’s Spearhead Studios has introduced its newest slot game, Wilds of Wall Street.

Wilds of Wall Street pitches the player as a wannabe stockbroker hoping to make it big and is inspired by iconic movies set in the 1980s and 1990s.

In the base game, any paid-for win triggers a subsequent free re-spin with additional symbol positions unlocked, up to 5x5, and an increased number of active pay lines. Six wins in a row will trigger the free spins feature. An ‘Insider Tips’ meter fills up as the ‘Wild Wolf’ character appear on the reel set. This unlocks the optional bet boosts which, if used, increase the chances of triggering free spins.

During the free spins bonus feature, wins will be paid either left to right or right to left, depending on whether it is a ‘Bear’ or ‘Bull’ market.

“We are very excited about this game, as are all those we have shown it to,” said Spearhead game development director Kevin Corti. “We designed a series of features that capitalise on the stockbroker theme with, for example, the core ‘Bear or Bull market’ mechanic in free spins where we sought to create an additional moment of anticipation with every spin.

“With multiple different optional bet boosts available in both the base and bonus feature, players will feel that they are very much part of the experience and the outcome.”

Spearhead managing director Mathias Larsson added: “Wilds of Wall Street is an excellent addition to our portfolio. We have a robust roadmap for 2020, which consists in launching 18 new games.

“We are also on the forefront when it comes to certifying our games in regulated markets. Our games are already now available in 8 different jurisdictions and in 2020 we will add at least 4 more markets.”

Adding to its portfolio of licensed brands, the launch follows a licensing agreement with ViacomCBS Consumer Products.
