London-listed gaming supplier and operator Playtech has
reported a 23 per cent increase in revenue from continuing operations to €1,508.4m
in 2019, although higher amortisation and impairment charges and losses in
casual gaming weighed heavily on the bottom line.
Playtech’s revenue growth was driven by its B2C division,
which includes the Snaitech business in Italy, HPYBET in Germany and Austria and
white label operations such as Sun Bingo, with B2C revenue climbing 56 per cent
year-on-year to €900.5m.
