Gambling Commission directs £9m to boost UK problem gambling support services

The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has directed £9m in funds from regulatory settlements to support problem gambling charity GambleAware during the COVID-19 crisis.

The funds will be used by GambleAware and its partners to help ensure treatment and support services can continue to operate effectively, and withstand additional pressures on their services caused by the coronavirus outbreak.
