Stockholm-listed B2B provider Scout Gaming Group has signed an agreement to provide its fantasy sports solution to operator Bet Entertainment Technologies.

The deal will see Bet Entertainment, which also operates Portugal’s bet.pt brand, launch Scout’s full portfolio of fantasy sports products via its Vivagol.tv and Vivagol.com brands, which operate under a Maltese licence and are targeting the South American market.

“I’m pleased to reach a deal with the group of the market leader in Portugal, they have in very short time-frame been able to establish a leading position and they will surely perform well in the whole South America,” said Scout Gaming CEO Andreas Ternstrom.

As part of the agreement, Scout Gaming’s platform is expected to be integrated with SBTech’s platform, which powers bet.pt’s online betting and gaming offering in Portugal.

Scout Gaming said that the Bet Entertainment agreement is expected to have a moderate impact on its 2020 revenue with the potential to have a significant effect on its revenue in future.

This will depend on the speed of rollout in various regions and the uptake of other products within the Scout Gaming offering.

Shares in Scout Gaming Group AB (STO:SCOUT) were trading up 6.49 per cent at SEK19.70 per share in Stockholm Tuesday morning.
